The centre of the Migration, the place where all action is: the river crossings, millions of zebras and wildebeest marching towards greener pastures, facing their survival whilst having to cross the mighty Mara river. Many documentaries have been done about this nature’s spectacle but -we always warn clients- this is an over-crowded time of the year to visit the famous Mara Triangle. If one wishes to see this great area, we advise to do it off Migration season because you have great wildlife all year long, and in great numbers too. Regardless of if you drive along the river, or further south into the Tanzania border, landscape is stunningly flat and the scope of sightings is endless. We always prefer to be here when the crowds are not and enjoy it, in perfect silent. Because this IS a very special part of Africa. And the size of this national park is of such grandeur that we make sure our clients explore it in different ways, staying in different areas too. The great thing about the region is that you can experience it within the national park areas and private concessions, and the latest have a better regulation of cars around wildlife. We always say, if you want to do a safari, do it the right way.
