FOR WHO IS SOUTH AFRICA?

For people who go on safari for the first time or any safari lover

For wildlife photography lovers

For those who love luxury travel: from accommodation, to service, wine and food.

For people who want to combine safaris with lively city life and/or many experiences.

The thing about South Africa is that it’s a destination that fits all types of people and holidays. For the first-timers on safari, it’s a guaranteed success: wildlife is abundant and you have it all, almost on your first game drive. You have rhinos, (and they almost seem like a normal, recurrent sight if they were not in the brink of extension) all predators and lots of action. Also, animals here are quite habituated to vehicles which allows for good closeups (if clients are comfortable) and generally calm behaviours. So if wildlife photography is of your interest, South Africa is a must. It’s also one of the most varied countries in this continent, and variety comes in lots of ways: landscapes, outdoor experiences (biking, trekking, hiking, diving, surfing, canoeing…), geographies, cities, culture, food and wine, beach and luxury travel.

Our clients never have a boring experience once they arrive here: from a luxurious stay in Cape Town (and access to the most creative South African art), to a wine tasting trip along the coastline, great outdoor adventures in more rocky areas, a safari with the big 5 or simply a divine gastronomy route, there is plenty to choose from. The magic is the combination of the things that best fit our client’ profiles and this is why we do what we do: where should your trip start, where should it head secondly? What is the best place to stay, the best wine to taste? How many nights should you stay at each place? What is best route to connect you from one place to the next? The incredible richness of South Africa is that is allow us to play with our creativity between the so many things we can offer to our clients. And it the overall experience will be highlighted with exquisite service and warmth.

In South Africa, you can travel around by plane quite easily or by car: we generally recommend that you have a driver for each transfer.

Most people chose South Africa as their first time safari experience but also many continue to come because there is an easy access to the big 5, and most of the other animals one would expect to see in Africa. Wildlife is particularly calm and unbothered by us. Birding is also quite fantastic!w alternartives.

South Africa has so much to do and many things to see. We like to recommend it for at least 2 weeks, if one is curious to have different experiences. Otherwise one week allows you to do one safari and visit a city like Cape Town.

If outdoors sports are your thing, in South Africa you can practise many of them. For foodies this country is also a must: the best wine tasting visits are waiting alongside Chefs cooking in front of you - this is a country for the “bons vivants”. You can also go to the beach, spend time visting art galleries in Cape Town or go whale watching in the region. Options are almost unlimited.

January and February tend to be rainy months.
